FACTORY DIP QUESTIONS
Q: Can I customize the Tuff Toe coverage area?
A: Yes. Just let us know what you want in the comments section when you place your order. You may also email us a photo of a used cleat so we can see exactly what you need. Extended toe = coverage that comes down 1/3’d of the way down the cleat to the inside. Extended toes reduce flexibility of the shoe. Hot spot = A quarter sized circle where the ball of the foot is. This allows the cleat to flex between the normal Tuff Toe and hot spot applications.
Q: What color Tuff Toe will you apply to my cleats?
A: Unless specified otherwise we do our best to match the Tuff Toe with the main color of the cleat. If aesthetics are a concern we recommend going with a different color other than white as the white will turn creamy yellow in the sun.
Q: Why does the white Tuff Toe turn tan/yellow?
A: Tuff Toe’s purpose is function and not aesthetics. Tuff Toe is not UV stable and will quickly yellow in the light. The Tuff Toe will naturally get dirty as soon as it is dragged in the dirt. If you don’t like the yellowing we recommend having us apply a color that matches other markings on the cleats. Just tell us in the comments section that you want a ‘black toe’ on your white cleats etc.

TUFF TOE PRO QUESTIONS
Q: What is the main difference between the molded Tuff Toe and Tuff Toe Pro.
A: The advantage of the molded Tuff Toe is price. The advantage of the Tuff Toe Pro is ease of use and the ability to customize your pitching toe. If you aren’t a regular molded Tuff Toe user we suggest going with the Tuff Toe Pro.
Q: Will Tuff Toe bond to itself?
A: Yes. Just sand the existing Tuff Toe, wipe with rubbing alcohol or other solvent and re-apply.
Q: What if I have spots where the Tuff Toe didn’t cure?
A: This is usually due to failure to ‘equalize the cartridge’. To fix just remove the uncured portion of the Tuff Toe and re-sand the area that needs more material including the surrounding Tuff Toe, and clean with solvent. Use another mixer tip (we provide three) and dispense a 2” line of Tuff Toe onto scratch paper in order to ensure that side A & B are reaching the tip at the same time. Apply Tuff Toe to the sanded area and it should cure.
Q: Will Tuff Toe work on used shoes?
A: Yes. As long as there isn’t a hole that goes all the way through the leather.
TUFF SLEEVE QUESTIONS
Q: Can I use my bat in a batting cage with my Tuff Sleeve?
A: Tuff Sleeve was designed to be used during batting practice inside and outside a batting cage.
Q: Will the Tuff Sleeve guarantee my bat is safe to hit in a batting cage?
A: Although the Tuff Sleeve was designed to be used during batting practice inside and outside a batting cage, Tuff Toe, Inc. does not assume any bat manufacturers warrantee.
Q: What type and size bat will the Tuff Sleeve fit?
A: The Tuff Sleeve is for wood, aluminum, and composite bats with 2.25” to 2.75” diameters.
Q: My Tuff Sleeve seems hard to apply, any tips?
A: The Tuff Sleeve may be harder to get onto large barrel bats the first time then it will stretch out. Try using flour or baby powder inside the Tuff Sleeve the first time you put it on. Once it’s on it should stretch out and be easy to apply the next time.
Q: How much weight will the Tuff Sleeve add to my bat?
A: The Tuff Sleeves weighs 1 to 2 ounces.
Q: What do I do if my Tuff Sleeve ripped along the seam?
A: Usually the Tuff Sleeve seams burst if you hit balls on the seam. Per our instructions ‘Do NOT HIT ON SEAM’. If there are ball marks on the inside of the Tuff Sleeve along the seam we can tell. If your Tuff Sleeve splits and it has not been hit on the seam we will send you a replacement if you purchased if from Tuff Toe, Inc.
